Peddling away on the bike at teh gym. Reading Volume 7 of Eiji Otsuka and Housui Yamazaki's The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service
We find three of our heroes out on yet another errand, and upon entering an enormous, multi-leveled, gaming/manga/anime complex (like Akihabara under one roof) one of them quips:
"I've heard of this place. It's like a five-story ant farm for Otaku"
.....I couldn't help it. I laughed aloud (more than once) today at the gym.
Sorry
sildil...I'm keeping this series. It's too good for teenagers. >D

It's witty, fun and really well drawn...really really well drawn.
If you click that link you can read about it ~ and while it's considered horror, it's all rather Shawn of the Dead kind of horror ~ you DON'T walk away from it with nightmares, but instead you are forced to think about humans, life, death and a lot of time not just morality but the choices we make as we pass time on this mortal coil.
Did I mention it was entertaining and fun?
I think teens would love it..male or female (especially since the two female characters are pretty well the smartest ones in the bunch and basically run the business)...but, you need to judge if the school board would allow it. There is nudity at times, but it's more for storytelling than titilation.
I am confident that you would like it on your personal shelf. It's a smart little series that doesn't insult you.
Oh and I ordered DMZ (the first one) and also Barefoot Gen (the first one) mainly as the sixth form media studies teacher said that the older students are doing a whole module on the graphic novel (*HUGE AIR PUNCH!*) so I had an excellent excuse!
Oh you absolutely MUST tell me what the media studies teacher has to say about DMZ and Barefoot Gen....I really want to hear how these are viewed from the teaching side of the spectrum.
AND...*HUGE AIR PUNCH* that is so cool ...YESsssssssssssssssssssss!
