I have carriers...the long kind that you can fling over the shoulder, but for travel on a plane, I'm not so sure that my SD boy wouldn't get mashed because it definately doesn't fit under the seat and I don't want to put him in the overhead compartment...nor keep him and his sister on my lap for a 5 hour flight :p
The little roly-suitcase should get many years of use I think. Total luck...found it in a Winners too (Our version of TJ Maxx)
Oh meh...I'm less comfortable with heights as I get older...and while I don't mind them too much if someone is holding the ladder I don't like reachinig up above my head and juggling heavy light bulbs on my own XD

Funny thing about people and space in our society...we tend to fill whatever space we inhabit to the walls with stuff. I wish I could be a minimalist. Really I do.
