I like purple too...I just pretend to not be so keen.
I was so entranced by this shade that I've been contemplating it for my bedroom...but that would then totally throw off all the other plans I've had for it. None of the light purple stuff...just white and that dark purple alternating on the walls. OH yeah..that would look fiiiine :)

Hand mixing cement is ...not easy. OMGoodness......upper body strength would be nice and is wasted on just the men I tell ya!
I will keep you up to date on the garden and good luck getting the weeds dealt with. I think it would be so frustrating having to battle that on top of the wildlife!! Obviously the universe doesn't want you out in the garden wrecking your knee ;)
