At some point in time I pre-ordered an action figure doll which is the N.A. version of the Obitsu boys. His big brother (the total stud body with package in his pants) is being released in July and was part of this pre-order, so colour me surprised when Triad Toys' Omega Caucasian Male arrived on my doorstep less than a week after the offical street date in mid-January.
Oookay. Well sure join the vinyl crew in my mess as I slowly sort my crap.
Very cool body but I'm not convinced I'm going to like him better than the Obitsu boys. The posibility is fine but I loathe the way the hands, feet and head attach to the body. I popped the head off in order to put one of Dude's shirts on him and then had a devil of a time trying to figure out how to replace it. Putting shoes on was it's own special kind of hell. I promised comparison photos of the Omega vs Obitsu in Dreamland but told them that the shoes stay on. Not again. Not in this lifetime.
His big bro will have magnets in the feet, which should put him into real Obitsu style posing territory...but we'll have to wait till the summer before I can pass any judgment. This head will go on the new body...since the latter comes without a noggin. I think my thought process here was for when the Mattel Spock is released that I'd have the option of this snazzy hot body with crazy flexibility for him. I was trying to be logical about it or something like that.
In the meantime I took a moment to introduce the boys...and whoowhee...if looks could kill >D
