My habit is to get up at 5 a.m. and at 5:30 walk down the street to the coffee shop for the morning java.

I wouldn't go *out* for coffee unless Teh Bob didn't prefer his in a paper cup (I think he's grown accustomed to the flavour of microwaved paper with his Joe and I can't replicate that with fresh brewed in a press). Since I'm going out for HIS coffee, I'm getting one for myself.

ANYway ~ one of the first things I do in the morning before I leave ,is check the weather online so I can dress appropriately and my jaw hit the floor when I saw the temperature was frigid -28C (-18F). Thank GODS it was calm and there was no windchill attached to that number because it DOES make a difference between a crisp and squeeky walk and *getting your face froze off* to use the rural vernacular.

BAH! That is just seriously cold! @_@

Pulling on my calf-length, down-filled, huge hooded parka, I was pondering the fact that in two days it's supposed to be 7C (45F) and pissing down with rain before plummeting back into the minus-whatevers.

I'd say Mother nature is being a bit hormonal.

My Water Element, Mizu (resinsoul Jun) and Sky Element, Sora (Resinsoul Mei) arrived today.

FedEx drives me to distraction ~ whenever I need to sign for something it takes pretty well most of the day to arrive from the depot 25 minutes from my house and seems to arrive just moments before I'm about to leave to go pick up Teh Sprog from school. Gah!

Anyway ~ I managed to get 99% finished in cleaning my art area. In fact it's 100% cleaned and I just have to dust/wipe and vaccuum the computer area beside it :)

Just in time ~ I've got some face-ups to do!! *^____^*

But as pleased as I am about that, I'm ever more thrilled with this pair....in particular my little merboy, Mizu.

Irondog had asked about *owner piccies* regarding the newly released Jun and I took some quickly before the light faded and I had to trot the youngest off to his tutor. I also took a quick snap of him beside his sister Sora (Mei) and Su (Bobobie Ariel), because it had come up in conversation which I prefered of the two companies who share designers and production but are in fact separate entities.

The last photo is full on stark naked dollies so beware.
