This morning I have accomplished all of two things ~ found a source of white pliver...(which is the top portion of a full grain sheepskin after the skin has been split,the bottom half processed as suede.) Basically it's very thin suede that shouldn't bulk up when I apply it to joint areas of the dolls to improve their posing.

I also got itchy about Mizu's eyes and decided to swap out the ones he came with for the blue pair I'd chosen for him (see picture) and....I'm not convinced that the 16mm size that he is shipped with or these ones are actually the correct size. 14mm might be more suitable for the little fish boy.

*sighs*....definately figuring out fast how people end up with so many loose bits of dolly detriss. I wish the manufacturer of this doll would tell you what size eyes he ships with. His make is so new that I don't even have anyone in the forums to ask an opinion of. *grouses*

Peepers aside, I took a moment to snap some pictures, because I have a burning need to bore my flist half to death with naked doll photos ...was amused that even without even a face-up, he seems to have a real personality leaking through (that must be a quirk of doll owners to see something that isn't there) and when taking the photos Mizu really seemed to ham it up. I think I've also figured out how I'm going to stage his water portraits when he's had his paintwork done.

I suspect that like his sister SU, the Fire Element ~ clothing are going to be strictly optional and limited to photoshoots.
