I had changed the set-up of my *kimono textile* corner display, and it occured to me while I was fussing with it, that I should just get at all the areas where my dolls lounge and sort them out instead of piling them up all in one space.
I like dioramas and setting these guys up...and I was growing increasingly frustrated that whenever the mood struck me to move props or the placement of resin or vinyl characters, that I couldn't find space to do. To do A I had to move B. Piles were starting to form where they'd just been sorted through & removed, and I wasn't ready to lose the semblence of cleanliness I'd fought so hard to gain.
This is not to suggest I have too many dolls (that's something I leave to my mother to argue)...what I mean is, that I just needed to organize the space I display them in have better, so that when I am moved to pause for a moment and ~ play ~ it's done with ease.
So the livingroom corner gets another make-over and for this month, Ryu sits glaring from atop my dvd cabinet.
( Where they are and what they do... )
