While I was eating the breakfast bowl of rice, I was bopping about online and in the way things usually happen for me, I stumbled onto the fact that Kodaka Kizuma's re-issue of Kizuna, vol. 2 (actually volume 3&4) is out, as is volume one of Borders AND Kizuna 3 (5&6) is available from Japanese booksellers for pre-order.

tameiki...and it's a nice, fat, sexy volume I might add.I'm such a K2 whore....I WILL have one copy of everything she puts out and *gurgles*...she's redrawn the covers AND an entire chapter. I can HARDLY wait to see what she does with Masa in volume 3 *reaches for drool towel*.
...and since I'm helpless in resisting the need to make BK1 purchase I picked up a hat making book too, in order to take advantage of the shipping.

I think I'm going to have to break down and eventually get the Japanese version of Kizuna and KKH just to have them on my bookshelves. Reading a real book in my hands is so much better than just having the scanlations.

K2 slyly sucks you in...and suddenly you realize these characters have set up house in your heart and you are really just a ball of melted goo when they start their angsting. Indeed Masayoshi is just...ah the uke doth protest too much. Lurv him to bits I tell ya >D

For me, K2's been a good read the first time. Something niggles in the back of my head so I go back to read it again. The characters get a little more under my skin the second time and I catch a few things I missed the first time around. Something else is niggling so I go back a third and fourth time. By then I throw my hands up and I'm lost.
Did you notice how Masayoshi's shoulders started out reeeeaaaaal broad and, as the series progresses to the finale du jour, his physique has ukefied itself? His shoulders are narrower, muscle definition (especially his arms) are smaller, rounder, his hair style is less masculine, his stance is less masculine... XD
....rather like it was mirroring his mental state. He starts out very seme ~ after all, he dates women and what is with this male student type chasing the contents of his pants all the time?
In the end he has finally totally transformed...well except for the attitude that he throws out there because he IS Masayoshi and he can...but he throws up his arms and surrenders to the inevitable....and he's the bottom too. >D
I agree...801 is my vote, except I bet it will be June since there is hardly any smut in it (same parent company no?)....or maybe they will. But I thought 801 is more hardcore pwp stuff and this series has smexing what...3 or 4 times and ALWAYS off page...

Junjou Romantica 12 is out in raws. According to what I've been reading, it's the "end", but I could've sworn I'd seen somewhere that it was 24 or 26 episodes. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it's only the end of season one :)

The 12th episode is so sweet. There is one scene that requires no translation. If you watch the characters, you can see the emotions clearly. *melts*
The way they left it off, they could end it there, but it would be so unsatisfying. I think they'll go on to season two just to be able to wrap up the loose ends better.
Took a quick look at the site, but my kanji knowledge isn't enough to be able to tell all that's been written. From what I saw of some writing at the end of the 12th episode, it seems like there will be more. *crosses fingers and toes*

Yes. That's when Misaki is telling Usagi-san that he doesn't have to tell about his past. Misaki went too far in his earlier rant about how Usagi-san never tells him anything personal and is feeling regret. For what was drawn and animated, they did that SO WELL. You don't need any translation to tell you what's going on between these two emotionally. :)
AND yeah...the emo is very well portrayed in that episode.
You know...oddly enough, this is a case of the anime being less manic than the manga...which when you think about it ...is REALLY odd.
Whomever the director is did an excellent job.
I hope it gets picked up by a English distributor...I'm all for supporting something this good...if they don't try to rape our wallets for it though.
But then again, if you really think about it -- how in the world could they get the anime to be more manic than the manga? XD
HOMG! I just watched the raws of Vampire Knight that just came out today. *massive nosebleeds* I think I watched this one scene about 50 times so far... :p
